I am reaching out to you guys because of your experience with this, and I would love your help! I also am losing time to spend doing things with the game, so eventually I'll have to turn it over to someone else if there is interest. I have very little experience doing this kind of thing, and I would really like to find a way to make the game automatically play at half speed rather than going into the settings and imperfectly setting it manually. MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL! Go to the Core folder in your Kane's Wrath install directory, and replace Misc.big with at the end of the post. All units will move at proper speed with this change. This enables the harvesters to gather and deposit at proper speed (I think), the weapon firing (ie: tank time between shots), time to hit (ie: missile speed), and unit firing and movement animations to be correct. Be very precise in this adjustment, for being slightly too fast or too slow will feel strange. This is not entirely me: credit to ReachieX for the original fix! I have added upon it though. This will speed up the time to unit production and decrease the impact of all-in rushes without affecting the early-game scouting phase.This video shows Tiberium Wars running at 60 FPS while using edited.
